The use of tracking technologies on our website
SPC Pro (Sanlox S. de R.L. de C.V.) may use cookies while browsing and using our website. Cookies are physical files of personal information housed in the user’s own terminal. The user has the option of configuring his browser to prevent the creation of cookies.
SPC Pro Mobile app
What data the app collects?
- Account and identification data: username or email address and password, used only to sign in; or an employee code typed or scanned from a badge.
- Operator identifiers: the username of the operator who records data, and the email address, username or name of the team leader who signs an alert.
- Production data entered by the user: measurements, inspection and check sheet results, alerts, free-text notes and the date and time of each record.
The app does not collect location, contacts, photos, files, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or financial or health information.
Camera
The camera is used only, and only when the user chooses to, to read the employee code printed on a badge. The image is processed on the device and is neither stored nor transmitted; only the decoded code is used to sign in.
How the data is used?
The data is used exclusively to provide the app’s functionality: to authenticate the user, to record quality data, and to send it to the organization’s SPC Pro server. It is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling or analytics, and the app contains no advertising or third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Where the data is stored and sent?
Data is stored on the device in an encrypted database so the app can work without a network connection. Pending records are sent to the SPC Pro server configured by the user’s organization, either SPC Pro’s cloud service or a server operated by the organization itself (on premises). SPC Pro recommends and provides encrypted connections (HTTPS); an organization that operates its own server may choose an unencrypted connection, under its own responsibility.
Sharing
SPC Pro does not sell or share the data collected by the app with third parties. The data is available only to the user’s organization through its SPC Pro server.
Retention and deletion
Data sent to the server is retained according to the policies of the user’s organization, which acts as the data controller. Users can request access, correction or deletion of their data, or of their account, from their organization’s SPC Pro administrator, or by writing to soporte@spcpro.com, and SPC Pro will forward and support the request. Data stored on the device is removed by uninstalling the app or clearing its data from the device settings.
Children
The app is intended for use in workplaces by adults and is not directed to children under 18.
